Your Beaver came home on Nov 6 with some poppy seeds in an envelope.
Here are some instructions on planting them (from the package - Flanders Poppy):
Annual seed, but will reseed if seed falls on bare ground. Height of up to 20 inches. Start inside 4-6 weeks before last frost, in peat pots. Cover seed lightly and provide darkness. Poppies dislike transplanting, so it is best to direct seed once the soil is warm. Cover seed with 1/8" soil. Transplant or thin to 10-12" apart in a sunny location. Deadhead regularly to encourage continued blooms.
